Highways Agency - Customer First Tool Kit

The Highways Agency is working to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on England’s motorways and major A roads.

It has already made progress towards its casualty reduction target through engineering interventions to improve locations with a poor safety record.

Alongside this, it recognises that it cannot “engineer out” all incidents and needs to work directly with our customers to encourage more responsible driver behaviour.

The agency is working with various groups of road users, industry and emergency services to develop Driver Information Programmes (DIPs) aimed at specific road users and looking at key issues on our roads. All these DIPs form the Customers First Toolkit, the contents of which can be seen by by clicking on the logo. The DVDs are available from the Highways Agency.
