Fleet safety – good business sense
Simon Turner, Campaign Manager for Driving for Better Business, was delighted to chat to the team at Volvo Car UK recently about fleet safety and how to manage it with good business in mind.
Explaining why road safety is so important for fleets and businesses, Simon highlighted the main reasons why those who manage drivers and their vehicles should take advantage of the free resources that Driving for Better Business offers, to help them identify and fill any management gaps relating to road risk in their own organisations.
Nobody wants to see their staff having accidents and being at risk, of course – and when the benefits of managing road risk well include financial business benefits as well, it’s not hard to see why the campaign has been well received by those fleet managers who have already got on board.
