Benchmarking your collision rate

Your collision rates are shown here against our 'good practice' benchmarks. Our benchmark figures cover all reported collisions, including minor car park bumps. If your fleet only records damage above a certain repair cost threshold, your figures will naturally look better. Consistency in what you count matters as much as the numbers themselves.

Average number of vehicles iAs the size of the fleet may fluctuate throughout the year, enter the average number of vehicles that you had on the fleet for the year in question.

Total number of collisions iEnter the total number of collisions for your fleet. Include both those claimed for on insurance and those below any excess or deductible you have in place, to ensure that the benchmarking is meaningful.

Total annual business mileage iEnter the total mileage for your fleet. This data may be available from your leasing provider, maintenance records or expense claims.
